I just found out today, Saturday, of Jerry's death. I admired his commitment to Christ, his family, his church and his work. His laugh and singing will be missed. He was an enjoyable man to be around. It was a PLEASURE TO KNOW HIM!!!!!

To Dan, although Sherry and I made the decision to pursue separate lives, I have always admired your respect for others, your unmistakable love for family and friends, and a man who gave his life to God, our Creator. I would like to have spent more time with you but, if I am worthy of entry into Heaven, I know you will be there and we can reconnect and share memories. I truly admire the man you were and the kindness and lighthearted approach to life, which was shining your bright light for...

Betsy and Zack, We will miss Dan's easy laugh and big smile. Dan was loved by so many people. I know you will miss his companionship and wise counsel.

Betsy, I am so sorry about Jerry. I did not have the pleasure of getting to know him. I did meet him though and I knew right away that he was a great man. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Betsy, as we commented at last night's visitation, Jerry is already singing with the angels. I loved hearing him sing "The Anchor Holds" at North Smithfield Baptist Church. It was so good to get hugs from you, Darlene and Mrs. Dorothy. It was great seeing Zachary and Tim as well. I love you all. God bless your wonderful family.

To the Beasley family,
I went to school with Danford at Four Oaks and South Johnston. I am really sorry to hear of his passing and my prayers are with you. To Mr. Beasley, I spoke with you at Kohl's in Fuquay several months ago and sent my regards to him by you. My prayers are with you. Susie McLamb Tadlock, Benson, NC
