Jerry Blackmon

Jerry Allan Blackmon Jerry Allan Blackmon, age 62, passed away during the early morning of the 8th of March, 2013 at Seton Hospital in Round Rock. Born on August 3, 1950 in Austin, Texas, he was a devoted son of John and Betty Blackmon. As a native Texan, he graduated from Johnston High School and retired in 1994 from Davis Engineering of Austin. Jerry was a race car enthusiast and loved nothing more in life than his family. He will always be remembered by his gentle nature, giving heart and always having a willingness to help anyone in need. He is survived by his mother, Betty; brothers, Wesley Blackmon and Charles Blackmon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Words cannot express how much he will be missed as he has touched so many people's lives. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cook- Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North I.H. 35 in Pflugerville, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with interment services following in Cook- Walden Capital Parks Cemetery.
