Not sure what to say?

Jerry and I worked in the same office for several years. He was a great, down-to-earth person and was liked by everyone. We got our first dog, Pumpkin, from Jerry. He had rescued him from the side of the interstate. I`ll never forget his comment: "Does God know how to make a puppy or what?" I love that!!!

I am just now seeing this. God bless Jerry. He was a good friend of mine. He brought me two of the finest mixed breed dogs there are. Teddy and Annie. May his soul rest in peace! Amen.

Jerry was a hilarious guy, as the tale about him shooting the seagull from his motel balcony in boots and shorts attests to. He was a great trainer at West End, and a great basketball aid at Birmingham southern. He was also a great help to me, personally.

I remember Jerry moving to West End from Reform, AL. He lived a street over from me. We were all in awe of him.....oh how we grew to love that wonderful witty person who became so much a part of us at
West End High School.
Love, Betty Jean Ross (Moore)

Jerry was a member of our '54 WEHS Class and on behalf of the whole class please accept our sympathy in your loss. Jerry came to us from Reform HS and things were never the same at WEHS. He truly was the type of person everyone loved to be around - always the light hearted one. We will miss him and remember him at our class reunions. God Bless

I am Sad to learn of Jerry's death. I worked with Jerry many years ago at Birmingham Budweiser Distributors. At the time, he lived on the campus of Birmingham Southern College and was heavily involved with the athletic program.
He was a very interesting person with a lot of life experiences.
Rest in Peace Jerry.

I Love You dearly. You were a great friend.I will miss you.
