To the family of Jerry Redman, truly sorry for the loss of your loved one. Those who were fortunate enough to know him, realize what a impact he made on the lives of students, faculty, and the school community. He was truly loved and will be missed immensely. I wish I knew sooner of death, my husband and I had his classes in the 70's. We would have come to the viewing.

Mr. Jerry Redman was a great neighbor and friend. He started at Perry the year I graduated in 1967 and was still there when me youngest son graduated in 1997. Many memories as my next door neighbor growing up always a great friend. Most of the old neighbor hood are gone now!
RIP My Old Friend and always a Commodore!

As stated in my facebook, Mr. Redman is one of my favorite teachers at Perry High School. He was our teacher, advisor, coach, confidante, and best of all... he was our friend. There is not enough space to say all the good things i would like to put. Our hearts are heavy and at the same time our hearts are filled with warmth in remembering all the good times we all shared. Mr. Redman would not want us to cry but to smile and laugh at all the good memories he gave us. Mr. Redman...

To the family and friends of Mr. Redman:
Anyone who could capture the attention of high school students and bring history/government to life deserves high praise! Mr. Redman took great pride in engaging and encouraging students to think outside of themselves and made learning fun and relevant! God bless each of you as you remember a man who touched so many lives in such a positive way.

Jerry Redman was a fantastic teacher and man. He had the greatest laugh. I always enjoyed his class. R.I.P. kind man.

Jerry was one of a few teachers I've ever had that left a solid bond with learning. We would cross paths now and then and he always struck me as a friend rather than a teacher. RIP Jerry, We will never forget you!
