Jesse Marvin Moon Jr.

Jesse was born on October 30, 1926 and passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Jesse returned home to Des Moines, Iowa where he married Marlys Willcockson and attended Drake University. Jesse joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 at the age of 16 and served during World War II in the Pacific theater on destroyers and on amphibian landing support craft. There will be a memorial service at Hillcrest at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 7th with a military honors ceremony to follow at 2:00 pm at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 W. Lake Rd., Abilene, Texas.
