Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear of Dr. Thorn's passing. He was an inspiration as a professor. He will be missed.

Goodbye Dr. Thorn, I'll always be thankful for your guidance and instruction, and pushing me!

To my favorite professor at LSU, and my thesis director at the Manship School -- rest in peace. You will never be forgotten! I'm so sad to hear this news.

My recollection of Dale goes back to his work with Edwin Edwards in Congress and forward to all of the things that he did after and to his first days at LSU. He was a remarkable man, inventive, a leader and a survivor. May God bless him and his family. Armand Brinkhaus, Louisiana Legislature..1968-1996.

You were an amazing professor and friend. Grateful the Lord saw to it to have our paths cross. So many of us owe you so much. You have left behind an amazing legacy through all whose lives you have touched.

It was great knowing you, Dale. May you find the rest you deserve.
