Not sure what to say?

Vern was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was always there for you. We are sorry we just learned of his passing. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family. He will be deeply missed! Our love and condolences - John, Maria & Alexx

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Uncle Vernon was one of the first people I knew as a child. He took care of me when my parents were away and continued on throughout my life, checking in on me, sending me cards on my birthday...his kindness always meant the world to me and I want his family to know that Jimmy Economos appreciates him and everything he did for us. We love you Uncle Vernon!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

I FLEW 727 COPILOT FOR VERN MORE THAN ANY OTHER CAPT.
HE WAS A MELLOW, ENCOURAGING KNOWLEDGIBLE TEACHER
OF HIS COPILOTS. HE WAS A GENTLEMAN & A PLEASURE TO
FLY WITH. HE WILL BE MISSED & FONDLY REMEMBERED.

PEACE & COMFORT TO HIS FAMILY & CLOSE FRIENDS,
SINCRELY,
WALLY (GW) PETERSEN
ATL 764 CAPT. RET'D 2003

Our love and prayers go out to the Watson family. Sincerely, Susan and Denny Walsh, Miami, Fl.

Vern belonged to another group of pilots and I met him there many years ago. He was always a warm, gracious, and often entertaining part of our group. We hadn't seen him in quite a while, due mostly to his extensive travels, but he was always a sterling gent and we'll miss him greatly.

I'm sad to hear of his passing and I send warmest thoughts, prayers, and condolences to his family.

Blue skies,
Lyle Prouse, ret'd Northwest Airlines pilot

My sincere condolences to your family. My late husband was an Air Force buddy and a fellow Delta pilot who enjoyed being a friend of Vern's. May you have peace and pleasant memories.
Trisha Townsend (Mrs. George Townsend)

I'll always remember Vern's smiling face and positive attitude. He was a real pleasure to fly with. God's grace and strength to the family.
