Jessie Edward McDaniel

Jessie Edward McDaniel, 62, of Charlottesville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2011.

Born on September 4, 1948, Jessie was the son of the late James Floyd and Eunice Marrs McDaniel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry McDaniel and Delmus McDaniel; as well as a sister, Grace Elliott.

Jessie is survived by his son, Ed McCauley; the love of his life, Joyce Broderick; siblings, Jimmy McDaniel, Joe McDaniel, Wanda Hunt; an especially devoted sister,Patricia Morris, Jackie Lunsford, Kathy Brogan, Brenda Johnson, Holly Perry, and Betty Hoover; a special aunt, Barbara Hensley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011, at the Teague Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Teague Funeral Home.

Pallbearers for the service will be Butch Gibson, Joey McDaniel, Travis McDaniel, Rodney McDaniel, Danny Boone, and Will Morris. Michael Chapman will be serving as an alternate.
