Not sure what to say?

Continue to rest in Peace, Mr. Pugh. You were larger than life to an 11 year old Cowboys fan. I did get to visit one of your stores in DFW Airport. I did get to see you at 2 games versus the New York Giants. I did get to meet you after a New York Jets game with my father, Starkey Pugh, your 2nd cousin. Also a resident of Indian Woods, North Carolina. God Bless you for being a inspiration to all of us young Cowboy fans.

Condolences to the Pugh family. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Jethro, I´ve heard great things about him from the Smallwood family matriarch. May peace and love be with you.

Posthumously, I nominated Jethro Pugh, Big # 75 of the Dallas Cowboys, the National Football League (NFL), for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame (2020-2021). As an outstanding NFL defensive tackle, Jethro was the "Mainstay" of the "Dallas Cowboys Doomsday Legendary Defense" for 14 seasons (1965-1978).

He played college football during the 1960s at Elizabeth City State College (ECSC), Elizabeth City, North Carolina.

I remember jethro as one of the integral pieces to the doomsday defense from the time I was a young boy to when I was a young man! What a complete player, teammate and most important a great human being the Dallas cowboys got when they drafted him so long ago.i was shocked to see the Lord take him at such a young age,but Heaven didn't get a good DT,they got a great one! he will be missed.Sincerely,Pete Stanakis,Cowboy fan for life

Rest in peace Mr. Jethro Pugh
May God wrap his loving arms around your family for comfort during this sorrowful time.
