Not sure what to say?

Nanny--i cannot believe you have been gone a year now. The kids and i watched the video of your birthday last night. We had a fun time and a sad time, both. We all miss you very much, but we know you are running around in heaven taking care of the flowers and the animals and most of all Pe-Paw. I love you and miss you so much, I cannot even put it in to words. Just know that you are always with us in spirit and in our hearts. LOVE ALWAYS--Your Loving Grand-daughter. SBJ

My sweet, precious Na-Na. I don't know what I will do without you!! You were my friend, confidant and gracious caregiver. I will always remember the trips we took with Seaweed and Penny to the lakes, beaches and mountains. You were always there for me when I needed you to be there. When my children were born, you showed me how to love them and make the best of even the toughest times. I will never forget how you drove over every day after Zachary was born just so I could take care of...

Mom & Dad at their 40th Wedding Anniversary party at our bike shop, Two-Wheel Transit

My Dearest Mom - December 15th was one month from the day you left this earth. It was also my birthday. My first in 64 years without your smile or touch. While there was sadness on this day, there was also joy, as we held a Memorial for you at Manorcare so those who loved and cared for you while you were there could pay their respects. You have many friends there...Miss Bertha, your devoted roommate, as well as others...Bella, Darold, Hazel, Donald, Kelvin, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Nunnley,...

Everyone needs a Jewell in their life. How blessed we are for having her in ours.
We all shine brighter because of her. Continue her legacy by loving each other.
Smile! Peace.

A wonderful childhood and young adult friend and companion. With only 9 months between our births, we were more like sisters instead of aunt and niece. So many great memories of playing together and our Thornton family get-to-gethers. With my mother, Ruby, being the first child born to Oley and Nancy Jane Thornton and Jewell being the last child born to them, it was an unusual but wonderful relationship.
Donna, you have much to be proud of. May God's richest blessings be on you and...

DONNA, I REMEMBER GOOD TIMES WITH CARL & JEWEL...GALILEAN CHURCH. SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL LADY.

Every mother dreams of having a daughter that she can create sweet memories with. Your Mom's dream came true because of the wonderful relationship the two of you had. Her life was so enriched because of the loving relationship the two of you shared. Always cherish the laughter, the love and the wonderful memories the two of you shared. A wonderful mother is a gift. And, so is a wonderful daughter.
