Jimmy Dale Campbell, age 75, of Plumerville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. He was born January 11, 1942, in Senath, Missouri, a son of the late I.D. Campbell and Cora Gordon Campbell. He was a farmer and a member of the Portland Missionary Baptist Church. He was a former Alderman for the city of Plumerville, former Chief of the Plumerville Fire Department, and a former Police Commissioner. Survivors include his daughter, Kelli (Howard) Smith of Plumerville; son, Chris (Jennifer) Campbell of Plumerville; grandchildren, Miranda Smith, Kaci Smith, Regenia Jones, Samantha Henry, Aaron Campbell, John Smith, and Paul Smith; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Jo Ann) Campbell of Plumerville; and sister, Della Matlock of Catron, Missouri. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Watkins Campbell; one sister; and four brothers. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Harris Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Plummerville Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Jimmy.Uncle Dick and Aunt Cora used to visit often,always enjoyed them.My Mother was Bernice Ivie daughter of Augie D.and Belle Campbell.We lost her in March of 2014.She was the last one of her siblings to go.Aaron,Keith and I sure miss her.Our prayers will be with your family through this trying time.God Bless you all.
