Gracious. Kind. Generous. Stable. Jim has had a great influence on my life and family over many decades. He was leading missionary training when my parents began their missionary careers. He landed aircraft in our front yard, which was the runway back then. In later years he provided guidance and leadership of our missionary aviation team as we flew aircraft in faraway places. Our time at TA/C was in 1984. Among the many folks we became acquainted with their were Jim and Edna. It was my privilege to have Jim train me for my commercial pilot certificate in Comanche N93F. One of Janet’s favorite memories is when Edna helped solve her issue with migraine headaches. Thank you Jim and Edna for the beautiful testimony of your lives. When I went to Arizona to take the missions pilot course Brother Jim was one on my instructors, I appreciate his sense of humor, his high quality of pilot, his patient with me, but more than nothing his daily walk with the Lord, such a great example for me.

It was always an uplifting experience talking to Jim. He was truly a man of God. I knew Jim for 14 years but still feel I knew him all my life. D is Indeed GOOD!
