Not sure what to say?

Dwayne was a very special man. He had a very gentle spirit. Whenever I was around him, he gave me a sense of calmness and peacefulness. He was always willing to lend a hand. I remember once when I was single & he & Paula helped me get a house ready to move into. It was a very old house that needed lots of work. Oh my gosh, how he & Paula worked hard scraping windows and re-grouting around them! He was willing to do anything for anyone! He was a man of honor & treated everyone with...

JD was the ultimate Gentleman and I feel honored to have known him.

I saw Dwayne only once we graduated. It was at a meeting for CHS 20 Year reunion. I was struck by the face that he was still the nice person he was in high school. We had a long talk, and brought each other up on our lives since graduation. He was sweet to me as a teenager and sweet to me at the reunion. I was saddened to hear of his passing. My sympathy goes out to the family.

Dwayne was a friend to all he dealt with and a friend to those in need. I recall many time we spoke to each other and how every time we ended up taling for hours. When I was down, Dwayne picked me up. When I had a questions, Dwayne had a reply. When I called or e-maile dto check on him and his condition, he always had a kind word and never seemed to me to be thinking of the negitive. Where most would be upset or say "Why me lord" Dwayne never showed that to me, he was always smaile and...

I never had the opportunity to meet JD, but if he served with Uncle Dale on the police then he must have been a great guy.

My thoughts and prayers to the Sullivan family. It was an honor to have crossed paths with JD. Although I did not get to know him as well as others, if you're part of the LEVA family - you knew JD Sullivan. Thanks for sharing such a great gentleman with us all. He will be sadly missed; remembered forever.

Our sincerest sympathy goes out to
you: Paula, Dean, Roger and your
families. We were so saddened to hear of Dwayne's passing. Dwayne
was my second cousin. I never met
him, but we had been in contact via
email for the last two or three
years. My dad, Jim Holt, was
Dwayne's grandmother, Annie May
Sullivan's, younger brother. Our
prayers and love are with you at
this very sad time.

JD was always a good friend to me. I worked with him to develope one of the course still taught today in the police academy. He was always there to help and I will miss his smile but he will live on in our hearts.

Dean, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask.
