My heart goes out to the family. I knew JoAn when she was a golfer at Farmington Woods golf course in Avon Connecticut. We spent many times golfing together and enjoying lunches and dinners with our husbands. She was a great gal, a true friend as well as a wonderful weather. I tried calling JoAn on her last birthday and I got no answer. I was worried something was wrong. A friend sent me this obituary so I know JoAn is now at peace. Bob and Sue Parente have been dear friends for years. We had the pleasure of meeting Jo-An only once at a golf tournament in Connecticut.. She was a delightful individual and we know she will be deeply missed by family and friends. Her memories will bring comfort to the family for many many years to come. My sincere condolences to all of Jo-An's family and friends. She was an amazing woman. She was smart, funny and absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed caring for her in the mornings at The Seasons in East Greenwich Rhode Island. She was a ray of sunshine to me. I will miss her beautiful smile. My prayers are with you all.
