Not sure what to say?

Joan Blank was one of my all-time favorite teachers. She loved what she did and made us love it too. She was a truly gifted teacher and I have thought of her often over the years. My deepest condolences to her family... Julie Thomas Alexander (Morganton,NC)

Blank family,

I am so sorry for the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Blank will always be in our hearts and minds for the many lessons she taught us. Not only English, but her love for life. Thank you for sharing her with us.

I have so many fond memories of Joan Blank. She was an inspirational teacher. She gave me so much confidence. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

The lessons Joan Blank taught us in English class at Morganton Junior High served me well throughout my academic life and beyond. Her infectious and inspiring passion for language and learning was communicated to us with wit and affection. I still have the list of books she said we should read in our lifetimes and still occasionally check my progress. She was an extraordinary person and I know you all deeply feel her loss. Please accept my condolences.

My condolenses to your family in the loss of Joan. She was a special lady and I enjoyed knowing her when you lived in Morganton, NC.

Dr. Gordon Blank & Family,

I was saddened to learn of Joan's passing. I extend my deepest sympathy. She was blessed with a long and adventurous life and a loving husband and family. It has been so many years since I have seen you. I finally retired from WPCC after 39 years. Take care and I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

My first years of teaching were with Joan Blank as a mentor. She was a dear friend also. We had so much fun at Morganton Junior High on the 2nd floor working with a great group of teachers.
Much love to her family.
