Not sure what to say?

Joan made me feel like her own daughter--what a loving, warm welcome she extended! I've known few women as gifted, elegant, beautiful and intelligent, and none who could also match her soul-deep empathy and sincerity. I'll forever love her and will cherish our last visits--especially our phone chat mere weeks ago--for her love, wisdom and grace.
Sam and I extend our deepest sympathies to her loving family.

Love you forever Momma. You were a gift from God and we will miss your sweet heart and loving touch. See you on the other side. We know you are here for us...Xxoo

Michelle and I were so saddened to hear the news. Joan was such a loving and caring person and we treasured her dearly. We will always remember her as a great entertainer with wonderful stories. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Caesar and Michelle Naftzger

Joan was a truly lovely, caring and elegant lady. She epitomized the spirit of "southern hospitality" to me; gracious, sincere, and generous in every way, especially in kindness. She also had a no-nonsense spirit that went along with her fiery red hair! Truly a blessing to all who knew her. She was such a dear, dear friend to my parents, and I will miss her genuine smile and engaging presence. My prayers are with you.

She was warm and caring and valued her PEO membership. At one of our fundraisers, I was lucky enough to win the bid on one of her antique dishes. I told her later that I had won her bowl, and I would always appreciate it and take care of it. Now I will cherish it and remember the...

My heart is so sad this morning as I learned of Joan's passing. She and Charles were both wonderful friends of my parents Ralph and Roberta Fiebach. They shared so many good times together and developed such a lasting friendship over the years. Joan was very special to me as well...a beautiful, talented and regal lady who was always interested in our family and whom I saw often on my visits home to Wichita. It was a joy to know her and she blessed our family in many ways. I have made a number...
