What a Beautiful sassy lady...I remember all the lunch and chit chatty visits you made to eureka down town ..GodSpeed Sweet Lady..I have lots of sweet memories of deepest sympathy to her family..

Laurel, I am sorry to hear about your mom (Joan) passing.

I'm so sorry to hear about Joan's passing. I worked at the University Museum when Joan was a volunteer, and she was always so full of life, sassy, and willing to help and learn new things. We've crossed paths recently again here at the Shiloh Museum where I'm director. Her visits, though more than 15 years later than our University Museum days, showed that Joan hadn't lost any of her verve or zest for life. What an incredible woman, a fantastic role model, a beloved friend to the museum...
