Joan and I met on the tennis court at Somersett. We became instant friends as we are both from New York and we´re New Yorkers till the end. From the tennis courts we went to the golf course where we shared many many laughs and giggles. She was a sweetheart always concerned about those around her. And a great cook! Only good things to say and remember about Joanie. God bless her soul.

I miss Joan terribly. She was a great friend, walking partner, Golfing buddy (and she DID know how to play! She more that tried! ;)) and overall amazing person. She was especially kind to Piper and my sons. There is definitely less joy in my world now that Joan is gone. Honored that Piper and I had a chance to say goodbye. My golf game has changed forever by using the sparkly pink golf balls that Joan used to use. I play them in her honor.

Was shocked to see this obituary. I remember Joan so well from HS and was honored that she was in my wedding party. My condolences go out to the entire family. Anita Pastier
