I took Professor Klein's Introduction to Shakespeare class and Survey of British literature as an undergraduate in the 70s. I took her course in the works of John Milton in graduate school. My vivid memories of our analysis of Spencer's The Faerie Queene and all of Milton's Paradise Lost were keepsakes. Her influence on my academic studies and teaching career was invaluable
