Read MoreI met Joan through my work, and I thoroughly enjoyed each visit we had together. Joan was a delight of a person- intelligent, kind, loving, and a bit of a spit fire! It was clear how much she adored Karim and her family, as they did her. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the entire family. I never met Joan ( wished I could have, so I could have called her Joanie). What an amazing woman, and an accomplished life she had. I was introduced to the LaBombard family through Michael, who was in the Army (Germany) with my brother Robert. What an awesome teacher she must have been, because of the "Counselor" within her. Reading her obituary and tribute again motivates me to do something meaningful with what years I have left. Praying...
