We are so very sad to hear of Joan's sudden passing and extend our heartfelt love and condolences to the Sanson and Waite Families. Cousin Joan will be in our memories always. Jim Hall, Kath Tousain, Tony Hall. All from Riverhead, West Auckland, now in Oxford, Canterbury.

I remember sipping sherry with you Joan in your kitchen in Gisborne and learning about gardening. And I remember taking you to dinner at Clancys where you had your first Old Fashion and it was a stiff one. I love you Joan. I´m sorry I won´t get to see you again.

May flights of angels see thee to thy rest. Bernie

I am so grateful for the wonderful memories I have of a kind and loving Aunty . Reunited now with Uncle Logan . Sending love and condolences to all the family Joanne and Kerry and family xx

We are so sad to hear of Joan's passing. Wendy and I were privileged to catch up with her a month or so back when visiting Gisborne. It was a reminder of how open and accepting she was of Peter's friends from the yoga community, always opening hers and Logans house to the strays that Peter had collected and took back to their place. Ours hearts go out to the family. We are sure she is resting in peace. Lots of love from Wendy and Peter. Hamilton

Dear Aunty Joan, I was just looking at photos on Sunday of the time Mary ,Mica, Miles and I came for a few days holiday. Your beautiful smiling face ,your lovely garden. Uncle Logan encouraging the kids to get the sheep in the yards as only he could. What a great time we had with you both. Another beautiful lady from our family now gone. I send big hugs and love to the family. Lynda xxx
