Billy it has been a long time since we have seen you. We are so sorry to hear about Joanie. We had a lot of good times way back in the years.May you and your daughter find peace knowing that she is in heaven watching over you. May GOD bless you.

I am thankful beyond measure to have known this courageous and inspiring woman for a few weeks of her life as she worked so hard to progress through her illness. Her beautiful smile was a bright, bright spot for all of us at Lewis Gale Rehab! Elisabeth (PT)

"I am deeply sorry for your loss.." Joanie always knew how to make you smile. Prayers go out to her family during this tragic time.

I am so saddened to read Joanie's passing in the paper. We were classmates at Auburn High School. Please know my prayers and deepest sympathy are with your entire family.

Dear Kathy,

If I don't have this correctly, please forgive me. I believe I'm a friend from our 5th and 6th grades when I lived in Christiansburg with my grandparents on 108 Miller St. I have lots of good memories of those years there and continue to follow the news from Christiansburg where many generations of my family were born and lived and are buried.

Sorry to hear of your sister's passing at such a young age. My heart goes out to you and your family.

To my best friend : you will forever be in my heart. I mourn for you but I also rejoice knowing your at peace with our Heavenly Father and all your love ones. You my dear one will be a legacy in everyone heart that knew you. I love you Joanie......

you fought hard, now its time to rest. you will be missed by all who knew we're here when you need us for anything .billy and linda turman
