Not sure what to say?

Joann Saner Kershaw was a dear friend. We were roommates at Penn State, and I was able to track her successful happy life from a chemistry major to a loving wife when she met Bob Kershaw in San Francisco many years later. Joann was a sweet wonderful person who is dearly missed, and who left us much too soon. I keep her prayer card on my nightstand.
In loving memory. RIP Joann.

JoAnn Saner Kershaw was one of my best friends. I keep her prayer card where I can see it everyday, remembering her energy, goodness, honesty, and many warm memories.

Bob and family, I am so sorry for your loss. JoAnn was a beautiful person and a great friend. She will be greatly missed. RIP JoAnn, you are now with the angels.

I am so sorry for your loss of one of the most influential women in my professional career. JoAnn was our VP at Mt. Eden; she kept all of us on the right path. I will never forget when she came to my home to help me deal with the passing of my husband. I remember she came back several times, even helping me open up bags and bags of mail that I had ignored for months. JoAnn was a pillar of strength for me and others. So very sorry to hear she passed way too young.

Bob: Joanne was quite a gal who so impressed us with her strength, her dedication, her skills, her beauty, her grace and her joy in living. I remember her as an wonderful role model for the students she loved and helped in her roles as an educator. I am so sorry she has gone too soon, but so glad I was privileged to be one of her co-workers. May she rest in peace and may the memories you have of your life together give you comfort in your grief. She was so very special. Irene Martin

Bob,

I am so sorry for you loss. We've known each other since the mid 70's when you and I were involved in the continuation schools. I later got to know JoAnn when I started working at the comprehensive high schools. She retired a few years before I did, but I can tell you she set the bar so high that it has never been approached by any administrator succeeding her.

I've thought of both of you often but never expected this. JoAnn will be missed by all of us who had...

Still in shock about JoAnn's passing. May she RIP and my sincere sympathy to her entire Family. She was so special and will be remembered forever!

So very sad to hear of JoAnn's passing. What a beautiful lady & friend to all. Glad we had a chance to "catch up" at our last reunion. It will not be the same without her there next time. John & my prayers are with the family. RIP, JoAnn..........Elaine

May the many happy memories of Joann and the life you shared help to lessen the pain of loss. Our hearts are with you and your family.
