I am sending my condolences to the family of Atty Joaquin Avila. He was a 1966 classmate of mine at Centennial Senior High School. When one of us fall, we all fall in our hearts. He was a wonderful young man, with aspirations he strived for and followed through by being one of the top leaders in assisting others. May you be comforted by our Heavenly Father.

My condolences to the Family of Joaquin Avila, I am an early childhood friend from Ralph J Bunche Jr High and Centennial High School in Compton California. Joaquin was always a very bright, humble, intelligent, compassionate young man. He was always a victorious young man with promise.
We loved him because his star was always bright. I thank GOD for him. Rest In Peace Joaquin. Prayers for the Avila family.

Joaquin came to San Benito County and was a voice for justice. He dedicated his life to bettering the conditions of the less fortunate and was a light in the dark.
