Not sure what to say?

You have made a lasting impression on my life that I will always be grateful for in my travels through this life. Growing up and watching how you were just beyond great in everything you did, and hoping that I am just a fraction as successful at being a man as you were in life. And accomplish just some of the things that you have in yours. Then I know I will be good to go. Thanks for always taking care of my mother and her son's. Miss you buddy.

I worked with Joe in the 70's at Coffield and later at Beto 2. Quite the character. Good memories of a good guy.

Sorry to hear of the passing of an old friend and Air Force buddy. I met Joe in Pakistan in 1959 and our Air Force careers brought us together again in Pakistan in 1963 and Germany in the early 70s. On my TDY trips back to San Antonio I would take the time to visit Joe in Palestine. Our friendship continued through the years and I eventually worked for him in Rusk at the Skyview/Hodge unit. A hard worker with a great sense of humor - Joe will be missed. Thoughts and prayers from Evelyn...

Its been a week now daddy and it feels like it was yesterday. I miss you more than mere words can say. Love you daddy!

Joe was a unique individual whom that God had to have broken the mold following his departure from this early place. He will be missed by many of his children and many of his other ancestors. May God be with you and keep you very close during this time of your emptiness and need for structure and hope. May God bless and keep you close during this difficult time.

Forever in my heart. Not a day, hour, or minute will go by that I won't think about you. You showed me the world and I will remember every step we took. Your struggle is over now, you can rest in peace. God called you home to the Glory of Heaven. The world will miss you, Road Dawg. ❤

My deepest sympathy to the family for your loss and MAY JOE REST IN PEACE in HEAVEN under the care of GOD. Charles and all, GOD, friends and time only will ease the pain so may your pains start to ease and your memory forever last. GOD BLESS

Joe was my AW at Beto, but he was became a true friend. You could never have a bad day around Joe, he could make you laugh like no one else. I have to say that hearing this news was very sad, I will always have fond thoughts and grateful for everything he did for me. Rest in peace Joe.

Joe was a reserve officer with Palestine PD back in the 1970's and I worked with him then, and also later at the Beto I Unit in the IIOP program. He always was a comical guy in his own way and had a smile and a story to tell. He will be missed by many who knew and worked with him thru the years...
