I remember meeting Joe Conley when he came to do a play in Winnipeg, MB Canada when I was about 16 years old. My father met Joe at our tennis club and we invited him out for dinner. It was such a pleasure to meet an idol, from a show that I had enjoyed while growing up. He is dearly missed.

It seems as if Ike and Cora Beth were my neighbors, they were real to me. That speaks of the talent that Mr. Conley possessed. We often forget that acting is a job and that being on a regular series can be a lot of work.
I hope that knowing that even now, his work brings joy and entertains many, will bring you comfort.
