Joe Albert Gray, 72, of Douglasville, Georgia, a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a maintenance manager with Western Union Telegraph before his retirement, died at Wellstar Hospital in Austell, Georgia, on Sunday, December 10, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 2000, 5-8 p.m., at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, 500 Third Avenue South, Amory, Mississippi. Services are scheduled for Thursday, December 14, 1 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by Chaplain Grady P. Morris. Burial will be at Gray Cemetery in Nettleton, Mississippi.
