I didn't know Joel as an adult, I remember him as a young boy hanging around his grandfather's garage, Freddie Lange who was a great friend of my dad's. He probably got the mechanic bug from being at his grandfather's garage. I remember his father, Joe also. I used to spend time at his grandfather's with my dad always working on our cars. My heart goes out to his wife and family!!

It has been one week since ive lost my cousin who always allowed me follow him no matter where he went.I was always under his foot whenever I had the chance. Summers that the family would spend together were always the best. Family food and fun was always abundant unlike my life now. Something as simple as making a run with him on the truck always made me happy just because it was time with him. Never did he treat me like a child or feel outcasted. Just hearing his laugh always made me laugh....
