Joel Arthur Barker

Joel had such an amazing mind with a keen ability to see the world in the depths of its complexity. He could easily navigate the future to find the most hopeful path for us as individuals, communities, and humanity as a whole. He viewed the world as no one else could, working flexibly with the deepest empathy to consider everyone with kindness and humanity. The world will miss Joel, but the best way to honor his memory is to carry his methods and insights into the world at this dark time. ...

Joel was a significant figure in my career. He trained me in the Implications Wheel and taught me much that helped me become a better strategic planning consultant and coach. Prayers for Joel, his family, and those with whom he was particularly close. It was an honor to know him.
