I found this randomly searching names of family members and once I read it I was sobbing he was the best grandfather always reading i miss him so much

I will always remember the kindness and feeling like a part of the family. They took me under their wings and showed me a better view of the world. The front door was always opened. Joel, Sara, Amy, and Joyce aka (Mrs. Evans back then) my thoughts are always with ya'll forever. I will miss Mr. Evans and the sound of his voice.

A man who was a legend in his own time. Many of us " Professional " woodwoorkers would seek his counsel on any given problem or technique we may have been trying to figure out. He and his staff at the unfinished universe could always find that impossible pc. of hardware you needed. I moved away several years ago to Georgia but still have many fond memories of the long talks, talking to's. and jovial laughter that let you know it was unmistakenly Joel's.
