Not sure what to say?

Margaret and I want to thank all of you for your warm and comforting words about my dad. Your love and friendship means everything to us during this time of grief. Thank You, Boyd

Boyd, we send our deepest sympathy for the loss of your father.
Jo and Dick Wall

Boyd, your father was such a kind and genuine man. The funeral service was moving and beautiful, and we will all miss him. Our thoughts are with you and your family.

We will miss our frequent talks with you during your walks past our house with your beloved dog, Doxsey.
Carol, Diane and John Ripandelli.

Boyd, we were so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful father. He was a true gentleman - with a kind, generous and loving heart that he shared with so many. Our love and prayers are with you and your family.

I am a member of the Seekers Sunday school class. Joel taught our class recently and he is everything everyone said, gentle, kind, Christian, example... On Sunday morning when we heard the ambulance come, we stopped our lesson and said a prayer for the person and family (unknown to us at the time). May his survivors be comforted to know that many Christians were with him and praying for him when he breathed his last. He was a blessing and may you be blessed by your memories.

Boyd, you know how special your dad was to me. He was truly one of the kindest, gentlest, most decent people I have ever known. I'm so sorry he's gone, and I know we'll all miss him terribly.

I worked for Mr. Murphree many years ago at DOE and I truly was blessed by knowing such a true southern gentleman with a genuine Christian heart. The last time I saw him, he was in a doctor's office as a volunteer driver for a cancer patient having chemotherapy. He was always a giver and doer of good deeds for everyone. While our world is diminished with his death, it was certainly enriched by his life.

May each tear that falls be a gentle reminder of what Mr. Murphree meant to...

Boyd and Family,

I was sorry to hear of Joel's passing. Your family has always been very dear to our's. Know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
