I was saddened to read of Joel's death in the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle. We went through grade school and high school together and maybe even Sunday school too. He was always a good natured, happy and friendly guy. I remember talking to him at a Bar Mitzvah several years ago and he was the same sweet person. So sorry for your loss.

I will always remember those times Uncle Joel would pick us up at the airport and shuffle us around town in limousines when we visited Chicago. He will be greatly missed.
