John Nels Anderson M.D.

Nels was my doctor for thirty years. He delivered both of our Sons in 1985 and 1986. He was a most compassionate and caring Doctor. On one occasion Dr. Anderson was removing a growth right in the middle of my chest. He left and came back with an anesthetic which he carefully inserted into my chest. A true gentleman, who made everyone he came in contact with feel like a long-time friend. Anderson family, my heartfelt condolences. We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Nels Anderson. After several unsuccessful IVF attempts overseas, my wife and I were convinced we would always be a childless couple. Little did we realize that there was a doctor named Nels Anderson here in Alaska practicing IVF only a few hours drive from our home in Anchorage.
