Not sure what to say?

Barbara, You & your family are in our prayers. Mr Avant was such a nice person. I know you all will miss him very much.

We were blessed to be in the Wetumpka, Alabama High School class of 1955 with Paul, and treasure having seen him later at class reunions. We are not at all surprised to read that he has touched the lives of so many others in positive ways. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve, but also celebrate, the "good memories legacy" of a life so well lived..

We all are so saddened to learn the news about Paul's passing. Paul was so smart and a favorite among all of his classmates at Wetumpka High School. He was also a wonderful athlete and wore a smile all the time. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.

Mr. Paul was such a nice man. He always had a smile on his face. He was one of the first to welcome us at Cornerstone. I know he is rejoicing with the Lord. Kent & Karen McPeters, Florence, SC

He was such a wonderful friend and Christian influence to many. We loved him; he will certainly be missed.

I had the privilege to work for Paul on his staff at GE for several years. He treated me more like a loving father would a son than a direct report. His honesty and integrity were only eclipsed by his kind and compassionate heart ... a rarity in business then and now. He served as living proof that you don't have to sacrifice your innermost beliefs to be a success in business and life. I learned more from Paul about how to do the right and honorable thing than from any other experience I've...

We would like to express our deepest sympathy. Please continue to lean on "The God of All Comfort" 2nd Cor. 1:3-4. Our Almighty God will sustain and comfort each of you in your time of grief.

Paul will have the best Fathers Day ever
with his Heavenly Father. Delighted we
had the privilege of meeting Paul &
