Not sure what to say?

Sending sincere sympathy to John's family for the loss of kind and gentle John. We were able to reconnect with John at our Gesu 50 year reunion and were looking forward to seeing him again this summer at the Ignatius reunion, as I was a classmate of John's at Gesu and Tim was a classmate at Ignatius. May our dear Lord give you peace and comfort at this time of loss.
Tim and Pat Kearney

We will really miss John. He was always fun and pleasant; and very smart. He really knew movies and he added so much to our Oscar class, as well as to our after-class coffee shop gatherings. He was a gentle, kind man.

I was in class with John and I was amazed at his knowledge regarding films.Whenever we needed an answer to a question we always turned to John.
We will all miss him especially during Oscar time.
Marsha Gross

Dear Family of John, I was sad to read of John's recent passing. He attended our Gesu class of 1959 reunion, and I so enjoyed renewing friendship with this fine person I grew up with. His kind and friendly nature were such gifts to your family. God bless him eternally. ~~Kathleen Brennan Kelly

To:The Bertrand Family. I am sorry for your lost. May the many memories of your love one bring you comfort and strength in the days ahead.

We will greatly miss your beautiful smile and thoughtful remarks after our movies together but know that we will be together again someday ! Ann and Joe

To John's family,
I knew John when I transferred to Gesu Schoool for eight grade. He was truly a gentleman at that time. He welcomed me into his circle of friends which included Peter Collins and the three of us would go ice skating on Saturdays. I had hoped to catch up with him at our last reunion but he wasn't there. My prayers are with you all.
