Just heard about John passing. He was my economics teacher and football coach during my stay at PHS REDSKINS graduating in 1962.

Coach was one of the first to attend my wife's viewing,Donna Glasson Gosney, also a 62 graduate who passed 6/96.

I spoke with coach briefly concerning our 50 year reunion and he indicated he was interested in attending.

My deepest condolences to the family. He will be misses by all.

We Giff boys in NC an NE were saddened to hear of Jack's passing. We relished the visits to Greensboro over the years to mom and dad's house and they always kept us up with things going on in Mine Hill. They thoroughly enjoyed the meeting with Jack and Mary at the Penn. battlegrounds in the fall and we were happy that all could get together again. Jack had a great smile and personality. Fondest wishes and prayers to you all-
Brian Giff

My condolences to the family and friends. I was fortunate to have had Mr. Burbridge as a PE teacher at PHS (class of 85') He will be remembered as a kind hearted dedicated professional. May he be swinging on the stars.

Jack was my "big brother" when we were kids. We spent so many fun summers together. He was so much fun to be around. I will miss him so. My prayers are with you Mary Ellen & family. Love Mary Louise Burbridge Giff

Thank you for all your beautiful comments. My dad was my heart and soul. He will always be in our dear memories . Always kind and gentle.
