Not sure what to say?

Patti,
Sorry to hear of your father passing away. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you

We are sorry to hear of John's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father passing away. He was a wonderful man, who along with he wife raised a great family and contributed much to this world. He will be missed.

Dear Cousins,

We are deeply saddened by the passing of your father and our Uncle John. We cherish the fond memories of our family holiday gatherings as kids, and the wisdom gleaned from the countless political 'discussions' (that were probably heard a block or two away). We are also grateful for the times spent as adult children, learning family and Cleveland history, and enjoying Uncle John's grin and twinkling Irish eyes. We wish we could be there to honor and celebrate a life...

My condolences for your loss. May the God of all comfort and hope sustain you now and in the days ahead. May God grant you a measure of peace.

While words fail to capture the pain of losing someone you love, I pray that the God of peace and the love of family and friends sustain your hearts today, tomorrow, and always.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

May the loving God of all comfort and a promise hope, be with the family and loved ones at this very sad and difficult time.
