Dearly loved by friends and family, John Conroy, 76, of Concord, died Sunday Sept. 6, 2015, at Concord Hospital with his wife and family by his side.

Born in Medford, Mass. to John Conroy Sr. and Mary Kate (Burke) Conroy, he attended Northeastern University and served in the U.S. Air Force. Before he retired, he spent years working in the technology industry, first as a radar technician at ballistic missile defense bases in Alaska, to decades of leadership as a Mainframe Services Technician with RCA/ Sperry / Unisys and later as a Certified Network Engineer with the State of NH. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, keeping current on news and politics, spending time with family and friends, and happily sharing half of whatever was on your plate.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Wanda (Boyd) Conroy and his children, John, Tom (Michelle), Dan (Erin), Diane and Joan, grandsons, Ryan and Patrick, sisters, Mary Ellen Boyle and Nancy Sally, predeceased by his brother, Stephen. He is fondly remembered by loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of long time friends.

Rest in peace Dad, Pops, Uncle Jimmy, John, Grandpa. We feel so blessed to have been loved by you.

Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of a wonderful person and friend. We still feel your presence and miss your wise counsel always.

My condolences to you, Wanda, and your family. So sad over your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers, dear one.

Wanda,
I just recently learned of John's passing. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Stay strong.

Dear Wanda and family, I just heard the news. My heart is broken for you all. I considered John a great friend, person and former co-worker. He truly was a saint in my eyes. Hugs to you all.

Wanda, I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I just heard this morning and all of us at the "Y" are sending our prayers to you. Be strong for yourself and your family. They need you.

May God bless the Conroy family and friends. The world has lost a beacon of light when he passed on. He was a very kind man, a great State Employee.

Rest in Peace John. Such a kind hearted, sweet soul. My thoughts are with John's family, I am sure he is already missed dearly.

I worked with John during those RCA/Sperry days. He always had a positive attitude to get the job done. He is a kind person and we will miss him. My condolences to his family.
