Not sure what to say?

Scott,

I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. Even though I haven't had a chance to see him for awhile, I have many fond memories of talking with him while we were growing up. He would always stop and say hi if he saw us out in the yard. I miss waving as he drove by, but I see he has gone to better places. I will send him off with a salute. Good bye Colonel

Scottie, Marcie, John and families...I was so saddened to hear of your dads passing. He will be truly missed by all who came into contact with him. Have peace in knowing we can all be together once again by knowing GOD and accepting Jesus into our hearts.

John, Marcie, Scott and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. We have
been friends for many, many years and has been a pleasure knowing
your whole family. Your Dad will be missed.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Your wonderful family will always have a special place in my memory and heart. John Sr and Jr were so much fun to be around when I was a teen. Friends were always made welcome at your home.

I remember your dad as a "bigger than life man", always smiling and joking with me. He had a big roaring voice at the Army / Navy games and I was always a little in awe of him.

It is with a smile I remember him and with a tear I mourn his passing. Losing a father is one of...
