I had the pleasure of meeting John on Isle Royale. John was on the ferry from Grand Portage, MN as was my girlfriend Tricia. As one does on the long ferry ride, John and Tricia were talking about their trip. I was meeting Tricia in Rock Harbor and and we were going to Malone Bay. John was also heading to Malone Bay.
