John Danowski

I have very fond memories of Mr. Danowski. He was my Middle School principal while I attended Gridley in 1975-76. He was rarely seen without a smile on his face. He often joked with my mother who was a lunch lady there. He never talked down to anyone and treated everyone with respect. He will be sadly missed. Condolences to your family.

Dear Jeannie,

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I'll always remember him as a quiet and gentle man. I actually got to see him and say hello over the summer while I had my mom out grocery shopping. Please pass my condolences on to your mom and sister.

John was my next door neighbor,my friend and in many was my mentor. I can remember him telling me that no matter what happens in life, believe in God and you'll never feel left out. No matter what life hands you, God will always help you through. All though it takes time to help those around you. Time never stops, so never stop helping. John, may your soul rest in the Hands of Our Lord, and may your strength carry your family on... Say a "Hail Mary" for John.

Mr.Danowski was my 8th math teacher. I saw him as a strong man in the sixties and watch life take its toll on him physically. After 2000 I would remember him as always caring for his wife.Pushing her into Mass in her wheel chair. He was hunched over and I could see the pain in him. We always acknowledged each other upon site. What a kind and loving man. God Bless John

Mr. D' was a good person who was fair in dealing with issues. I was on several committees with him and I saw his love and compassion for the young people.
