John C. Dexter

Vineta - I wish I could have met John as he must have been such a special man. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Vineta - what a wonderful relationship you two had! It was fun to hear about from Toni. We have been following the fun and the health issues for a long, long time. You and John have been in our thoughts and prayers, literally, on a daily basis. Don and I send our love to you.

We were sad to hear of the loss of our old friend, "Captain" John. He will be missed by all of our former neighbors on The Ridge at Big Twin Lake, and especially by his caring and faithful friend and companion, Vineta.

All the alumni of Camp Tosebo have lost a true friend and master storyteller. John's anecdotes at the Reunion in 2005 (captured on video) will always be treasured and enjoyed by many. His life was forever guided by the motto of the Camp, "There is nothing so Kingly as Kindness."

Vineta, my deepest sympathies to you. What memories I have of the both of you at AmSeCo. What humor John had. I just loved that about him. I know you and Sparty will miss him especially at your home up north. What a beautiful place you shared. You will always have those great memories. So sorry.

Mr. Dexter was a dear and beloved friend of our family for as long as I can remember. He will indeed be missed, but he has left us with fond memories.

John lived life to the fullest! He had a genuine interest in people. His sense of humor will be missed! What a legacy he has lefted behind! Gone but not forgotten!

My deepest sympathy to all of John's family. Vinetta, you and Sparty have lost your best friend. I am sure that the walls will echo with laughter for years to come. How blessed both of you were to have had such a great relationship. You can't help but smile when you think of John. Brandy
