To the Fields Family,
I am sorry to hear about Mr. Fields. I have very fond memories of him from Hanley St. My family and I send our condolences, our prayers and our love to you all.

God Bless You

My dearest Uncle John, you are greatly missed by your huge family. I hold so many fond memories of vacations and yummy cookouts at your home. At your home was the only time we were allowed to drink soda ...oops "pop", Canfield's to be exact. It was just a few weeks ago that I heard your voice as you and Aunt Louise left me a lovely Christmas message and Happy New Year wishes. I will cherish that. Peace and love.

Your niece, Deidra

I was saddened to learn of the loss of my former co-worker and friend. John always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he encountered. He loved God, his family and his church, and anyone who knew him certainly knew that. May God bless and strengthen you.

I will always remember how Mr Fields stood tall in our community as I was growing up. He embodied sternness and gentleness all in one. He helped raise many children on Hanley Street. My heart and prayers go out to the family. Praying that the Lord will provide you a peace that surpasses all understanding during this season. Rest in peace Mr Fields.
