Dr. Fisk was one of a kind. I've worked with him professional over the last 15 years and very much enjoyed our conversations and his generosity. He was always talking about his "next big adventure". I'm sure he's on a great one now.

I'm so sad to hear of Dr. Fisk's passing. He was such a wonderful person and an exceptional father. I am the secretary for Regional Radiology and I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Fisk for a few years when he worked for Cleveland Clinic. One thing I realized about him immediately is he wasn't just another Radiologist. He always thought of others. I remember a couple Christmases he came in the office bearing goodies for all us girls. He lived in TX and we're in OHIO. I think he really just enjoyed seeing people happy. Then there was the time he paid for a trip for his secretary (Judy) to come up and meet me because we had become quite close working over the phone. He even gave her money for us to go to dinner. Like Judy Barker said, he was so generous and kind. Anytime he was in town he'd call and say "wanna do lunch". I was always fascinated by all his ideas. The man was brilliant. He also just glowed when he talked about his boys. My husband and I got a Christmas card every year with their picture. He was so proud of his boys. I hope they know he will always be with them in their hearts. They are so lucky that they had a father that simply adored them. I can't imagine the loss for his family. I'm so sorry and pray that someday the pain will be replaced by memories of him that make you smile.

There will never be another John D Fisk. He was the most interesting person I ever had the pleasure to call my friend as well as my employer for many years. My heart is broken for those beautiful boys, Pierce & Ethan. John loved them so much. Enough cannot be said about John's generosity and kindness. I will miss him intensely. Prayers for all. John was a good friend during both high school and university. His great smile and sense of humor will be missed. Deep regrets for not getting in touch with him when he first returned to the PNW. To live each day and make the most of friendships is the legacy of his death.
