Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary;
In the years that I had known Jack, starting as a colleague at The Travelers, then as a boss and mentor, and later as a friend, I grew to respect him as an outstanding human being. He was incredibly dedicated to whatever task, project or function he undertook with a drive for successful completion. He was a good teacher, setting high expectations, but none higher than the expectations he set for himself. He had great patience, but as Pat Sorrano wrote, he had a special look...

Hi Mary, Was so saddened to hear that Jack had passed. I have so many good memories of the thoughtful, kind things that were done for me at a most difficult time in my life. I will always be grateful to you both. My thoughts and prayers are there for you. Want to talk to you soon. Take care of yourself.

Jack was my boss, my mentor and my friend. I have never met anyone like Jack - so kind, thoughtful, generous, always willing to help. He was someone I admired and tried to live my life according to his approval. I'll never forget his lists for his baseball outings or his wonderful smile and contagious laugh. Dear Mary, Jack, Bobbie, Bill, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May his memories bring you and your families comfort. Col
