John J. Henderson passed away May 20, 2020 at the age of 72, he was a graduate of Northeast Catholic high school class of 66, an US Air Force veteran, a member of the VFW Pine Hill Post # 286 and Blackwood Post #7927, a computer analyst at the former Frankford Arsenal and retired employee for the IRS. He is the son of the late John and Marie (nee Dolan) Henderson. Loving brother of Marie Palumbizio (Joseph), Bernadette Whitman (Charles), Cecilia Blair (Norman), Veronica Heckler (Philip). Dear uncle of Marie, Joe, Christopher, Karen, Katie, Mike, Matt, Kristin, Kelly, Jason, Justin, and Ryan. Great uncle to Alexis, Dante, Megan, Charlotte Rae, Riley, Ian, Owen, Emmett, Lucas, Tyler, Logan and Owen John. A private viewing and religious service for family members will be held at the Burns Funeral Home 1428 E. Columbia Ave., Philadelphia PA 19125. Interment with military honors will take place on Thursday at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Berlin N.J. Donations in his memory to:The Wounded Warrior Project,  P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 would be appreciated.

Uncle John, Words could never express my love for you. You were simply the best. I love you and say hi to nan and pop for me.

Wish I had a picture for every road trip you took with my family. So many funny memories.

John was a very sweet man and we will miss him very much.
