Not sure what to say?

Hi Butch
So sorry to get the belated news about John's passing last September. He and I shared a lot of good times over the years when we both worked at DEC in the 80's and 90's.It was great to stay in touch with him in the "post DEC" years as well, meeting a number of times for lunch and remember that evening you, John, Diane and I had a wonderful time at dinner at La Palonia restaurant in Quincy.
John was a life long friend and we miss him a lot.

Mrs.Hughes, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. With My Deepest Condolences,Pam Engrassia Boudreau

Kirsten and Family,
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved Father.

Sincerely, Maureen Flynn and Family.

My condolences to your family ! Our thoughts snd prayers are with you all !

I worked with John for many years and he was the most moral and clearing thinking person I have known. A real sense of right and wrong and not afraid to sometimes speak truth to power. But he also was a great friend...we could argue about anything and then go out to have a meal and have a great conversation about family, life and the world...I shall miss his sense of humor and his friendship. See you later, John!

I'm so very sorry to hear of John's loss.
As kids, Mrs Huges welcomed so many of us into her home. Every once in a while, we'd stay a little longer than I'm sure we should have & Mr Hughes would be coming in, from work. He always had a kind smile.
My deepest condolences, Edie, Kirsten, Adam, Jonathan & to everyone that knew and loved John.
May he Rest In Peace
Former 4th grade student that has wonderful memories, thanks to Edie ❤

Thoughts and prayers to the Hughes family and friends. Hold on the good memories you shared with your loved one. He will always be in your heart!

Dear Butch,
We fondly remember all the good times, the trips, and all the laughs that we had, with you and John, over the last forty plus years. From kitchen renovations, to dinners, to movies, to carriage rides in Quebec. May John rest in peace. All our love to you and the kids.
