Not sure what to say?

John was an influential mentor early in my career, and I am very grateful. I learned a lot from John, and I enjoyed working with him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hughes family.

I only met my Uncle Jack once, but I have fond memories of the stories my mother, his sister shared, she loved her baby brother. God Bless, rest in peace, and prayers for my cousins, and Aunt Marge

John was my first boss when I came to work at PNNL in 1973.
He mentored me a great deal related to work and his support allowed me to be granted an Educational Leave of Absence.
Without his assistance I would not have had the career opportunities afforded me.
I'm glad I got the opportunity to catch up with John and express my appreciation.
We also got a chance to talk about our golf games and in particular the old Battelle-Exxon Nuclear golf matches.
God bless you John
