Dr. John B. Isom

Dear Members of Dr. Isom's Family, It was with sadness that we received the news of Dr. Isom's passing. Please accept my deepest sympathy extended on behalf of the entire Vanderbilt Medical Alumni Association. Dr. Isom was a truly wonderful physician who served his patients and profession with a dedication to excellence that is a role model for our young physicians. Dr. Isom was an outstanding pediatric neurologist. He was a true role model, demonstrated compassion for patients, diligence in his discipline, and left a lasting impression on all of us young pediatricians-in-training, for me in the mid-1970's.
I will forever remember him as a fine physician, a wonderful teacher, and a good man.
