John will always be in our hearts, and memories.

John had the brightest and largest smile I've ever seen.

Peter, Please accept my sincere sympathy and a promise that you and your extended family are in my thoughts and prayer at this very difficult time

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lafayette family during this most difficult time. I worked with John for a time at GD until he went to OP-3 and found him to be a great guy who talked about his family and cars all the time. He will definitely be missed by many.
